Mentoring and Instruction

Are you interested in learning photography or taking your existing skills to the next level? Whether you're a middle or high school student, an adult exploring a new hobby, or even an experienced photographer needing inspiration or wanting to refine your craft, one-on-one mentoring and instruction is the perfect opportunity.

We’ll meet once a week for personalized lessons, with each session tailored to help you reach your individual goals. From mastering camera settings and composition to experimenting with lighting and creative techniques, you'll get hands-on guidance every step of the way. While course sessions run in a 9-week sequence, following a traditional school quarter format, you can begin any time. Our personalized approach not only allows for flexibility in scheduling but also provides plenty of time to learn new skills, practice, and develop confidence, with each week’s learning building on the last.

Personalized mentoring and instruction is $585 for the nine-week sequence.

To help you get started, we’ve created a free quick reference tool on the exposure triangle—a simple guide to help you understand key camera settings like aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. You can download it here.
